FMS and EXERCISE Part 4

I still use the CHI machine, and it is great.  There are different kinds now, than the one Fred purchased for me. I will give you the information on getting it from our source.

However, since this is a medical outlet, you may have to ask for a retail store.

The acupuncturist I used had these available for her customers at a discount.  Ask around, go on the internet, and see what you can learn.  Mine is almost 5 years old and still going strong, so I feel they are worth the expense.

FMS and EXERCISE Part 3

Then there were the other aches and pains that had to be targeted for elimination.

Another of my problems was my back.  There were places that just always seemed to have a dull ache, no matter what I did.

Fred would do his Creative Healing treatments on me, and that always made a difference, but unlike when I got hurt prior to FMS, the ache always seemed to return in a few days.

Walking got me into a different position from the chair, and that helped.  But there was still a pretty serious ache in my lower back almost all the time.

I was on the pain medication by now, and was able to live without using anything except the Nortriptyline. About the time I was deciding maybe something more needed to be done, Fred got a flyer about a CHI machine.

FMS and EXERCISE Part 2

The day I was able to graduate to a walker, which Fred bought for me, was like being released from prison.  Using it wasn't a snap, but it was certainly better.  By then I had improved in my walking, so that helped to make it easier, too.

No snow, no cold, no one way trip to the teepee in the sky for me - just round and round every day.

About a week would pass and Fred would insist that I add another round to each journey.  And I thought running was hard.

When I finally graduated to one of those little 4-footed canes it was quite liberating.  From there I also graduated to the mini-trampoline.  That was every day for 10 minutes.

FMS and EXERCISE Part 1

Oh my, oh my, but I hated it when my husband decided I had to exercise if I wanted to get well.

What made it worse was that he would show up with this big grin on his face.

"It's time to get you out of that chair!" he'd say happily.  "It's time for a nice hike."

At first I thought he was kidding.  I wanted to laugh at him, but I didn't feel like laughing.  And I certainly didn't feel like hiking!

More About Responsibility

More About Responsibility

You may have a whole different outlook on how to take care of FMS than I do.  If you are seeing an M.D. and taking several prescribed medications, that is true.  But that’s okay.  We each have to listen to our inner self and follow that spiritual guidance.

I orchestrated my healing exactly as my inner spirit told me.  It was the only choice that felt ‘right’ for me.  For each person, the ‘how’ doesn’t matter.  What does matter is that you listen to that inner voice and then do something.  You are as much an individual as I am, and we are both entitled to our own opinions and actions.  You are your responsibility.  Taking action means you are taking responsibility.

Getting Well From Fibromyalgia

Know in Your Heart Pt 2

Fred and I believed in and taught others about 'Going into Spirit'.  This is a method of contacting your inner self in order to tap into the help we knew was in our own spirits.  Spirit being the part of us that lives forever, it's pretty savvy.

The term 'Intention' as used by Dr. Dyer is new to me.  However, we knew that if we contacted our own spirit and then asked the Creator to help us that we could expect to be helped.  And we were helped.

I never had a doubt from the first day I knew I was sick that I couldn’t get well.  For me, the alternative wasn’t an option.  At first I was upset enough that I didn't act on that knowledge.  But now I know that because I finally set up an 'Intention' with the attitude and belief that I would be well, as a result, I am well today.
